Creator FAQ
Do I have to pay anything to start a drop?
No. There are zero upfront costs for creators.
How does a drop work?
Choose the items you want to wear and we send them to you in a Drop Kit. Wear the items normally, then seal them in the provided packaging. Return the Drop Kit using the prepaid label. FanWear authenticates and seals the items, then lists them for sale once pricing is confirmed.
* A printed instruction card with step-by-step guidance is included.
What is authentication?
Every FanWear item includes a signed Certificate of Authenticity (COA). At the end of a drop, creators sign a stack of COAs. FanWear matches each certificate to its item and seals it with a unique QR code.
Scanning the QR code opens the item’s verification page, confirming the creator and drop. Each item is permanently recorded in the FanWear verification registry.
Do I have to message customers?
No. FanWear handles all customer support and communication.
Do I have to ship anything to customers?
No. Creators only return the drop kit using the prepaid label. FanWear handles all fulfillment and shipping to collectors.
How long do I wear the items?
Items should be worn normally for one full day.
How many items are in a drop?
Standard drop kits include 30 items. Custom quantities may be available by request.
What items can I sell on FanWear?
Creator-worn apparel such as tops, bottoms, lingerie, sleepwear. Approved personal items and accessories may also be included.
How are items priced?
Pricing depends on item type, wear duration, creator demand, and comparable drops. FanWear works with you to set pricing.
What is the creator split?
The default split is 50 / 50 with performance upgrades up to 70 / 30.
When do I get paid?
Creators are paid monthly for verified sales from the previous month, once payments have settled with our processor.
Is it safe for my payment processor?
FanWear uses separate payment processors and sends payouts from a standard bank account, so transactions never pass through your personal accounts.
